The
West Coast Rangers first started out holding shoots at the ADSA Range ,
But soon realized that they needed a spot of their own. After some
research and phone calls, a deal was reached to have use of the Old 800
yard Military Range. So it was set, and the club moved what little
assets it had out there and called it home. It was a rustic site
perfect for the base roots of Black Powder shooting and Rendezvous.

by the original members when attempting to shoot "Western" style at
established Rifle and Shotgun ranges, it was soon realized that a club
should be formed where the traditional styles of shooting could be
practiced.

The SBPA is provides support for local shooting events, leading to
a Provincial Championship shoot held at the Saskatoon Muzzle Loading Range
in September of each year.
